On February 7th, be part of the celebration of Northeast LA!

Heritage Square Museum will be participating in the Mayor's Day of Service on Saturday, February 7th. We are one of over 40 projects around Northeast Los Angeles where volunteers will make major headway in beautifying the City. Volunteering will be from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and a celebration for all participants will be held at the Rio de Los Angeles State Park at 12:00 noon with live entertainment and radio personalities. Individuals interested in volunteering should contact brian at development@heritagesquare.org or call (323) 225-2700 ext. 221.
The purpose of the Mayor’s Day of Service is to mobilize the community for volunteerism, service, civic engagement, and City pride. The Northeast LA Day of Service is a day for Angelenos in Northeast Los Angeles to unite and share a day filled with service projects that will address community issues as well as highlight the community’s assets.
Celebrating our 40th Anniversary with 40 events, exhibits, projects and programs, Heritage Square Museum tells the story of the development of Los Angeles like no place else. The eight historic structures at the site provide the perfect backdrop for telling this story and provide a glimpse into the everyday lives of Angelinos at the turn of the Century.
